OUR STORY

It started with a conversation between close friends on how to give back to society

More Good was founded during COVID to turn unused restaurant kitchens into a way to help those in need.

In August 2020, we launched our first meal box from Yardbird’s kitchen, making sure each one was packed with nutritious ingredients.

As restrictions eased, we expanded our efforts and opened our Chai Wan space in December 2021.

Now a registered charity, More Good Foundation, is excited to grow our community and make an even bigger impact. We team up with Hong Kong companies to recruit volunteers for kitchen work, packing, and distribution so that we can continue delivering care-packed meal boxes to the homeless, refugees, the elderly, and low-income families.

Sustained by our social enterprise, More Good Events, we also offer venue rentals, private events, and corporate catering. We believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food and meaningful connections. By harnessing our network’s talents to drive positive change, together, we can do More Good.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

  • What we do and for who

To nourish vulnerable communities by preparing, serving, and distributing ongoing, nutritionally rich and flavorful meal boxes.

  • Our "why"

Whether you’re homeless, in between jobs, or leading an executive board meeting, everyone deserves equitable access to nutritional, flavourful food and meaningful exchanges.

More Good Foundation fosters a ripple effect of positive change by harnessing our network’s creativity, talents, and skills. Together, we can do More Good.

  • What we hope to achieve

Our vision is to foster a ripple effect of positive change by harnessing our network’s creativity, talents, and skills.

By partnering with Hong Kong community facilitators, brands and corporations, we create opportunities that benefit both our mission and their goals.

These initiatives provide a symbiotic feedback loop, enriching all involved parties.
