More Good Foundation
Serving nutritious, heartwarming meals to those in need.
Crises hit vulnerable communities hardest.
THE OPPORTUNITY
COVID-19 exposed how Hong Kong's vulnerability to crises hits the most marginalized communities the hardest.
When operating and dine-in hours for food premises were heavily restricted during the height of COVID, our co-founders saw an opportunity to utilise restaurant kitchens during idle times, and apply resources for a good cause.
As social-distancing measures eased, we began exploring ways to continue the project. We opened the doors to our Chai Wan space in December 2021, inviting others to come together to do MORE GOOD.

To serve nutritious, heartwarming meals to those in need.
OUR SOLUTION
Everyone deserves equal access to nutritious food.
We prepare meal boxes care-packed with seasonal, flavourful ingredients and distribute them to vulnerable groups, including the homeless, refugees, the elderly, and low-income families.
Over 700 nutritious meal boxes are produced each week at More Good and distributed through our charity partner network.
“Like an expensive car, your brain functions best when it gets only premium fuel. Eating high-quality foods that contain lots of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants nourishes [and protects] the brain.”
Nourishing both food and people
OUR APPROACH
Focus on high-quality seasonal ingredients and tasty flavours
We prioritize fresh, seasonal produce and collaborate with Hong Kong suppliers and distributors to ensure the highest quality ingredients in every meal box.
Building a generous and robust ecosystem to do more good
Led by chefs, creatives, educators, and Food & Beverage experts, we partner with Hong Kong community facilitators, brands and corporations, creating volunteer opportunities that benefit both our mission and their goals.

OUR PARTNERSHIPS
More Good x ANDŌ
The partnership between More Good and ANDŌ, which began in 2022, focuses on tackling food insecurity in Hong Kong. Chef Agustin Balbi has been pivotal in this initiative, leading monthly meal preparation sessions and actively engaging with the community. His dedication not only improves the quality of the meals but also raises awareness for More Good's mission.
Chef Agustin has united top chefs from renowned restaurants like Embla, Little Bao, and Hansik Goo to support this cause. Each session fosters community spirit while preparing meal boxes for those in need. Chef Agustin’s leadership emphasises the vital role chefs can play in social initiatives, demonstrating how the culinary arts can create positive change and nourish vulnerable populations.
Humanity Seekers Cooking for More Good
Humanity Seekers, Hong Kong’s only refugee-led society, has been advocating for refugee rights and improving lives since 2014. In 2022, we partnered with them to launch a program that benefits everyone involved. Humanity Seekers needed support in job readiness for the refugees they assist, while we sought dedicated volunteers.
Each month, a group of 20 asylum seekers volunteer in our kitchen to prepare meal boxes for distribution. Under the guidance of chefs Mike and Jeff, they enhance their culinary skills, preparing for the job market. This initiative is a powerful example of how two marginalised communities can come together to do More Good.
